The South African Broadcasting Corporation is the largest broadcaster in South Africa, and provides 19 radio stations as well as 5 television broadcasts to the general public.
We developed and executed an evolving digital strategy that included the revamping of SABC’s online presence across the board. In addition to that we also created a portal for the SABC Green leader’s project – a teams and groups based management system used to implement internal policy of total citizenship at the SABC. The objective of the system, which is an enterprise-level facebook/Xing application, was to be used by SABC to allow for management and their teams across the organization to communicate and collaborate. This website in effect was similar to the SABC having an internal Facebook application using software developed by our company for Enterprise 2.0.
